Limestone caverns near Whitehall, Montana are the state's first and best-known park where guided tours allow groups to walk through caves that feature stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and helicitites. Small groups of people spend a minimum of two hours to hike two miles to the top of the mountain where they enter the caverns and descend a mile through the caves to the exit. In addition to the cavern tour, visitors have access to trails, a visitor center, an amphitheater, several picnic areas, a campground, showers, RV dump facilities, and three rental cabins.
